Pointing Dog Training

Do you have an unruly hound? Does your pointing dog just need a little tuning up? Buckeye Shorthairs is just the answer. We offer training for all ages and breeds of pointing dogs. We offer several different packages depending on your needs. Please review the options below and contact us with any questions.

OPTIONS

 1) Our rates are very competitive throughout the industry. Basic training rate is $15.00/day, which includes (2) 30 minute sessions per day. If birds are needed for the lesson the cost of birds will be added in addition to the training fee.

 2) For complex lessons, a weekly rate of $100.00/week will be charged, and cost of birds will be added in addition if needed.

 3) For those of you who want to train your own dog, but lack the experience, we offer an option "Train The Trainer". Train The Trainer is a unique experience that is only found here at Buckeye Shorthairs, We invite you to bring your young hopeful and teach you how to train your dog to perform the desired task. The cost for Train The Trainer is $30.00 per 1 hour session, and works best if done at least once a week. The cost of birds will again be added in addition to the base training rate.
