Fully Guided Hunts

Do you Want to take that hunt of a lifetime, but your tired of walking through all that brush and finding no birds? Give Buckeye Shorthair Kennels a call, we can and will find you some birds while giving you the thrill of a lifetime. Hunting behind our dogs is like taking candy from a baby. OPTIONS

 1) Preserve Hunt - Buckeye Shorthairs is affiliated with several local preserves and can put on a  hunt with an endless bag limit. Preserve hunts can typically be booked much later into the season, usually through the end of March. A preserve hunt is extremely difficult to beat if you want to see a lot of action in a little amount of time.

 2) Wild Hunt - Buckeye Shorthairs has contacts across the state to do hunts on private and public ground alike. If a "WILD" hunt is what you would rather, we can do that too. Please keep in mind all the state bag limits, season dates, and sex discrimination still apply.

 3) Put and Take Hunt - Buckeye Shorthairs has birds on hand, so If a combo hunt is wanted ("Wild" hunt, with the some additional birds) we can most definitely meet your wishes. A combo hunt is the cheapest way to get a hunt put on, but please remember we must abide by all Ohio upland laws (only roosters, and daily bag limit of 2 per hunter).

RATES

We charge a standard fee of $20.00 per hour while in the field (typical hunt is 3 hours in duration), our rate is based on 3 guns per dog, and all additional birds will be in addition to the guiding rate. Please contact us with all of your questions.
