Buckeye Shorthair Kennels is owned and operated by Russel Madison. However, there are some people working behind the scenes to keep the kennels in the best shape possible. The following is a list of the three people who helped build, and are helping maintain Buckeye Shorthair Kennels:

Russel Madison - Russ is the driving force of Buckeye Shorthair Kennels. He stumbled across German Shorthair Pointers and one dog led to another. He is the owner of Maddi, Hunter, and Oscar. As is the case with everything he does, he jumped in feet first and the rest is history. He quickly became a training guru, and sponged every piece of information thrown his way. Natalie Shroyer - Natalie is one of driving forces behind Buckeye Shorthair Kennels, and she also is one of the lead trainers. She is the only feminine voice of the Kennels, and sometimes has to step in when a gentler touch is needed. She can be reached either at the kennels or by email.

Barney Gammon - Barney and Russ have known each other almost as long as they have known themselves, and have been best friends since day one. So it is no wonder that they have joined forces to bring you Buckeye Shorthair Kennels. Barney is the owner and trainer of Zoey, but has a hand in a little bit of everything at the kennels.
